About Me
I’m a software engineer located in Vancouver, BC. I majored in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia. I also studied French a little bit. I was born in New Westminster, BC. I lived in Port Coquitlam for a few years, Pitt Meadows for a few more, and Mission for nine years. I graduated high school in June of 2001 from Heritage Park Secondary School. While in high school, I started my own web hosting and design business that I called AzoNet Internet.
I program largely in C and C++, which I prefer to higher-level languages like C# and Java (which I also have experience with). I have also programmed in PHP and Perl. I’m a long time Linux user, having used Debian and Ubuntu, Mandrake, SuSE, and Red Hat/CentOS for many years. I prefer KDE to Gnome.
I read a lot of books about usability, design and, among other things, typesetting. I am also interested in rock climbing, yoga, photography and french. And when I have time, I like to travel.
